The Level 2 Award for Upskilling a Door Supervisor Working within the Private Security Industry is a mandatory qualification for those seeking to renew their SIA Door Supervisors Licence.

Our Upskilling qualification has been developed to meet the mandatory SIA training requirements. Appropriately qualified learners who complete the qualification will be eligible to apply to renew their SIA Door Supervisor licence. This applies to those who gained a Door Supervisor qualification prior to June 2010 or whose qualification did not include the Physical Intervention module (this also applies to some qualifications awarded between June and September 2010).

How long is the training course?

It has been designed to be completed in 2 Days (1 and half day) which is the mandatory minimum time required by the SIA.
The course is assessed by a 25-question multiple-choice examination this is set by Authority and marked by the tutor.
